About

OpenBox is a public notebook about artificial intelligence. It is written by a software engineer who has worked in testing and quality for more than a decade and spends much of his free time studying how AI works inside.

The blog has two parts that talk to each other.

The Trail is an ordered series of posts written for people who never studied technology. It starts with the basics, takes the fear away, and gradually goes deeper until it reaches the gears.

The Lab collects technical experiments: RAG, agents, reverse engineering, model evaluation. Each experiment records the hypothesis, the setup and the result, including when it fails.

There are no ads, no sponsors, no course to sell and no tracking. The goal is to learn in public and keep a record of how that learning evolves. The Now page is that record.

Whenever possible, posts separate established fact, majority opinion and what is still uncertain. If you find a mistake, it will be fixed and the correction will stay visible.
